Valcrum

Valcrum was founded in 2018 after its founders recognized the need for a more durable alternative to the plastic hubcaps commonly used on commercial and heavy-duty trailers. The company began by developing aluminum universal threaded hubcaps and has since expanded its product line to include hubcaps, plugs, accessories, braking enhancements, and diagnostic technology designed for demanding trailer applications. It’s Universal Threaded Hubcap was named 2019 Product of the Year at the North American Trailer Dealer Association trade show.

I developed Valcrum’s website in WordPress and WooCommerce, creating an e-commerce platform capable of serving both the company’s product marketing and direct online sales. The site combines detailed product specifications, compatibility and fitment information, educational resources, dealer information, and online purchasing within a single platform—giving customers the technical information they need before ordering specialized trailer components.

I have worked with Valcrum since the company was founded in 2018, serving as its web developer and ongoing webmaster throughout its growth. As Valcrum has introduced new products, expanded its dealer network, and evolved its technology, I have continued developing and maintaining the online platform to support those changes. The relationship provides a strong example of how my role can extend well beyond an initial website build, supporting a growing manufacturer and e-commerce business throughout nearly its entire history.
