Triple J’s Smokehouse

Triple J’s Smokehouse is a longtime Houston barbecue institution that has been serving authentic Texas barbecue since 1994. Founded by Jarrett and Rhonda Scales, the restaurant grew from a small operation in Northeast Houston into a local favorite known for its brisket, ribs, sausage, loaded potatoes, and catering. Over more than three decades, Triple J’s has served generations of Houstonians while earning recognition throughout the city for its food and its connection to the community.

I designed and developed a custom WordPress website that captures the personality of Triple J’s while making the restaurant’s most important information easy for customers to find. The site provides dedicated areas for the restaurant menu, catering, group orders, location information, and the story behind the business, with a responsive design that works across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Triple J’s has also been one of my longest-standing client relationships. I have worked with the restaurant for more than a decade, maintaining and evolving its website as the business and the web have changed. That long-term partnership has allowed the website to remain an authentic extension of an established Houston brand rather than simply serving as a static online menu.
