Microlight Corporation

Established in 1990, MicroLight Corporation of America is a pioneer in low-level laser therapy (LLLT) and was the first company to receive FDA clearance to market LLLT for the non-surgical treatment of pain through adjunctive therapy for patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The company’s 830nm laser technology is used by clinicians, therapists, dentists, veterinarians, and other professionals for applications involving pain and inflammation.

I designed the MicroLight website to function as both an extensive educational resource and an online retail platform. Because low-level laser therapy is a specialized technology, the site goes well beyond traditional product pages, providing in-depth information about LLLT, the science behind the technology, clinical research, applications, videos, provider resources, and treatment information. That educational content is integrated with an online store featuring MicroLight laser systems, accessories, replacement components, and supporting materials.

MicroLight Corporation has been a client since 2019, giving me the opportunity to continually develop a website that has grown substantially in both content and functionality. Over time, the site has evolved into a deep resource library alongside its e-commerce capabilities, supporting customers at every stage—from someone first learning about LLLT to an existing provider purchasing accessories or researching the technology. The result is one of my more content-intensive projects, balancing education, technical information, product discovery, and online retail within a single WordPress platform.
