Project Summary

Tiger-Rock Martial Arts is a chain of martial arts schools with roughly 100 locations across the United States. XTX has an extensive relationship with numerous Tiger-Rock locations, including the vast majority of the academies in Texas. Two of them, Tiger-Rock Martial Arts of Katy & Katy South are among the largest schools in the chain. When XTX reimagined their site in 2023, we had three objectives: make it easy to read, make it easy to navigate, and make it easy to understand the value that Tiger-Rock offers.

Project Details

Lighter color scheme

We opted for a more family-friendly, parent-appealing lighter color scheme while still staying faithful to the Tiger-Rock corporate colors.

Emphasis on localized images

While there were a handful of stock Tiger-Rock images used, we mostly focused on using images of classes in the academy. We want to give prospective parents and trainees an idea of what it really means to be a Tiger-Rock member.

Responsive design

Compared to the versions of the websites we did in 2020 and 2021, we wanted to take greater care to improve mobile friendliness and readability.
